1. Keep an open mind. First, we find that in majority of the problems the solution is right in front of you, but having a closed mind keeps you from seeing it. Its when you don’t see the problems is when it should scare you.

2. Not get stuck on what worked before. Consulting firms are either selling you a method of doing something at a very high price, or developing their next product on your dime. This is great if you are implementing an ERP, but then most of our clients come to us because they are doing something that is not rinse and repeat.
