Sometimes the problem seems too difficult. Sometimes the team doesn't know where to start. Other times the project is so caught up in politics that it is impossible to worry about everything else. Marale is about execution. The special forces of complex and difficult situations. If we can't deliver, you don't pay. That is our money where our mouth is, money back guarantee. Who else has the confidence to offer that?
People usually think we are really smart or really dumb. They always want to understand our process of delivering on our guarantees.

Here is a typical executive view of one of our project plans.
What is unique with it? Speed, simple complexity.

What you don't see is the 2,534 project line items spread across 10 subcontractors, 72 people in 5 countries and 7 time zones involved in the design and manufacture of this innovative and very complex system which composes of 439 physical parts and 22,321 lines of code with a MTBF of 90,720 hours (that is 10 years before failure) and tolerances of +/- .01mm.
Obviously we won this project, but why?
At business commit we were already several months ahead of schedule of the other firms. Our complete project plan was half the time and a third of the budget of the others. While other firms were offering powerpoint slides and fill-in-the-blanks proposals, we had real 3D models of the product, with freshly minted physical samples from our Rapid Prototyping machine. While they were talking about novel approaches to power management (in slideware), we had breadboard prototypes running code. Our firm had the first test units in the customer's hand by the time the other firms would be finishing the specifications and requirements documents. And we were in mass production when they were scheduled to have the first prototype samples.
Now of course, not all of our projects get this level of attention and speed. Honestly, it would be impossible to do so and it would be unethical to set this expectation. This is just a real life example of what our team is capable of when our clients ask us to jump.
How do we do this? |
|
1. We staff only the best from around the global. These are the folks that Google wishes they could recruit. They are attracted to our firm based on the truly compelling projects that push the edge of technology and business. They also love our philosophies when it comes to passion for everything we do. And of course our folks are incredibly well compensated.

2. Hardcore analytics. Every principle in our firm was working with data extraction, mining and intelligence way before there was an industry. We pride ourselves on being able to extract the right information, distill it down to real intelligence that can be acted on. We utilize several methodologies in this space and leave behind tools and fundamental at every engagement. We also teach classes in this area under the "Art of Focus" series.

3. Process, process, process. The critics say process creates red-tape and destroys all creativity. Quite the contrary, our process methodology enables teams to be free of all those mundane tasks that sap creativity. We also believe in flexible process, unlike those other consultants, we know that you can't force fit someone else's process into your culture. We have a long and successful history with process consulting that dates back to the early 90s. Few firms can match us on implementing real, practical and sustainable process. |
4. Focus. We create razors that cut deep and quickly into your problems, executing solutions that create impact today. Our teams don't waste time in meetings, nor do they train-on-the-job or pretend they know what is going on. Having great teams, utilizing logic and process creates highly effective teams that are unmatched. Ask your other consulting firms, what kind of measurable value can they create for you. If our teams can't create the impact you need, we will keep at it...free of charge...until it is done. |
|
5. Constant Education. Every Principle on our team spends their free time keeping up on the latest advances in technology, science and industry best practices. Very few even have a television, much less time to watch it. They are all insanely obsessed on the pursuit of improving the world, leaving behind far more than they consumed. It is a personal mission and not a job. |
6. Our Secret Sauce. |
|
Challenge our team.
We are flat rate, project based consultants, our high end teams usually book up to 6-18 months in advanced. R&D programs can range from 3-18 months with various options to reduce cost burdens on your firm.
Business Operations, IT and Software development teams are usually available on demand. We have several attractive and affordable cookie cutter packages in this area, since many companies usually struggle in the same areas.
Consumer Internet and SaaS teams typically have 3 month led times, with rapid project completion times. Our popular, cookie-cutter packages for custom corporate Web 2.0 apps start at $10k, with 4-6 week completion times. That includes solution specing, design, development and QA; something offshore teams can't do for any price. Yes, our team is that good. |
